WorkAbility
Inclusive Pathways to Employment Programme is an employment focused programme which aims to support people with disabilities to access education, training and employment opportunities.

Homelessness Barriers
Many people who experience homelessness encounter barriers in their search for employment. These can include disability, long-term unemployment, limited work skills and experience, and critically, low confidence and a belief that people will not employ them because they have experienced homelessness.
WorkAbility helps to break down these barriers by:
- Breaking down fears of prejudice.
- Developing interests and career paths.
- Promoting integration with the local community.
- Supporting people to regain and develop work skills, confidence and motivation.
- Addressing long-term unemployment through work experience.
“It felt really good to be back in work and to realise that I can do this – I feel proud of myself and I’m looking forward to the future.”
– Margaret
Our WorkAbility team works closely with companies throughout the region offering support to each company and participant during the period of employment.
